Physics lab equipment may vary from lab to lab depending on the laboratory's expense, sophistication and the nature of the experiments done there. Although a high school physics lab will not have the same high-tech environmental lab equipment, but most labs do share common categories of science experiment kits such as measuring and safety equipment.
Safety Equipment
It is a type of physics lab equipment which generally all labs possess. A lot more environmental lab equipment includes eye goggles that are used to protect a scientist's eyes from chemical spills, debris and irritating gases. Eye-washing stations are also one of the science experiment kits, essentially sinks with a faucet on opposite ends. Gloves are another safety physics lab equipment used to protect the hands against extreme temperatures or very acidic or basic substances, depending on the make of the glove.
Measuring Equipment
Graduated cylinders are common features of a physics lab measurement tool inventory. This type of physics lab equipment is used to indicate volume measurements for liquids or for irregular objects. Another measuring device is a volumenometer, which also measures the volume of irregular objects. However, it generally measures things that could be damaged when placed in liquids, such as fragile roots.
